The NRA-NMLRA Basic Muzzleloading Shooting Course is a hands-on live-fire course that covers muzzleloading rifles, pistols (including revolvers). The course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a muzzleloading rifle/pistol. It covers topics such as the history of muzzleloading, equipment familiarization, proper loading and firing procedures, and the sportsman’s role in society.
